First Annual Asheville Vintage Fashion Bazaar

Lots of amazingly talented peeps with so much to offer. I met some wonderful gals that share my love of vintage and what not, but overall FANTASTIC turnout! We will be planning another one in July 2009 on the weekend of Bele Chere. That will most definitely bring in more people wanting to check out what we've got. And hopefully more talented lovely artists joining in as well!!

Handcrafted Works In the Making

So I am taking a while to start up my new jewelry and accessories shop on Etsy, but it's worth the wait Everything I make comes from inspiration to the music I listen to. Sometimes I will have on some trance music or down tempo then I am inspired by certain colors and shapes. Man, it really takes a while to create something. I stay up until 3 a.m sometimes making stuff. I really enjoy what I do.

Lately I have become obsessed with polymer clay. I think I have found my niche in this. I'll be sticking to this for a while. I'm all tickled inside.

Into The Mind of A Vintage Lover

I gotta admit. I'm a vintage-o-holic. Everything within me screams vintage; OK not everything, but damn near close to it. I have loved wearing vintage stuff since I was 14. Sometimes I have found myself daydreaming about which thrift store I have yet to discover and even having dreams of being in the best thrift store with everything I ever wanted! Well, I have calmed down a bit because I am working on making jewelry so I have started to obsess about something else.

So one time I was went to this thrift store that actually has a discount card that you can use every Thursday and get 25% off everything. While I was in line waiting for my card I struck up a conversation with this elderly woman and she started going on about how her husband thought she was a thrift store junkie. I then realized that I too, was a thrift junkie and there was others out there like me. Whew... What a relief.(Wipes sweat from forehead)


I love stuff from the 60's, 70's and 80's and that is what my Etsy shop reflects. I want to spread vintage love all across the globe and back.
